Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her parents were a mother who was a housewife and a father who taught. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. McCormick always enjoyed performing, dancing and creating show puppets. The fairytale story of her rise to fame started when she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of six, which prompted an inquiry from an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who inquired if she'd like to enter the show industry. McCormick's first job as a professional was in 1964, where she was featured in a television commercial featuring Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. In the year that followed, she appeared in another commercial that aired on TV for Chatty Cathy's doll. Soon afterward, McCormick was cast at La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of the character Wind It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twins on The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick admitted in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year run in the series. She was just 16 when the incident occurred and he was just 19. The incident could have occurred, she stated, but the time wasn't right for us.
