Jazmine was raised and born within Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam her mom was a former backup singer for Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five, of age, her dad landed in the role of curator for The city's Historic Strawberry Mansion in the Strawberry Mansion section, and her family relocated to the historic landmark. The 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduate She is an instructor in the area of vocal. Sullivan performed as the contralto in the children's choir . Later after a couple of years later, she sang in the adults choir. Sullivan received little exposure to secular music. She recalls when she was 11 when someone wanted her to sing as a soloist at church. But, she wasn't fully ready. Then, McDonald's held a contest that was open to children living in cities. Sullivan, at age 15 was signed for the first time to Jive Records. There, she recorded an entire album. However, the album wasn't released. Sullivan was later dismissed on the labels. Missy Elliott was the producer on a couple of songs on her debut album. Of these "Backstabbers" from Timbaland, which Elliott produced, is a high point of their relationship.
