Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other options she could pursue. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit before the band went on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. The singer was the primary singer for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980.
